My Approach
My goal as a psychotherapist is to help you understand your difficulties and empower you to live life to your greatest capacity. My style is inseparable from who I am: warm, kind, light-hearted, and practical. These personal qualities help me create a safe, non-judgmental, and trusting therapeutic atmosphere where you can freely express yourself.
I value the process of getting to know you as fully as possible. You can expect me to be active, curious, and supportive. I will focus on your answers and give direct feedback, often thinking out loud to share my feelings and insights with you in real time.
In my experience, the therapeutic relationship is a powerful and active agent for change. My sessions combine warmth with problem solving, offering a nuance down to earth grasp of conscious and unconscious, and the complex factors that contribute to life’s challenges.
The Therapeutic Process
FAQs
I offer in-person sessions on (15th October 2024) at my office in Madison Square Park: 51 E 25th Street, New York, NY 10010. I am also available for remote sessions on (15th October 2024) through Zoom/Teams.
My practice primarily serves emerging adults, individual adults and adult couples.
I offer 50-minute therapy sessions because I find them to be more thorough and effective than the standard practice of 45-minute sessions.
Therapy duration varies based on individual patient goals and progress. Some of my patients resolve their symptoms within several months, while others maintain therapy long-term to keep symptoms at bay and manage life’s evolving challenges.
